ARTIST BIO

 

Sophie Arthur is a South Australian artist based in the Fleurieu Penninsula, whose works feature natural imagery inspired by her environment. Her work explores the relationship between the atmosphere of quiet settings and their emotional resonance.

 

Alongside her studio practice, Sophie is a middle and senior school visual art teacher, where she encourages young artists to develop confidence through making.
