ARTIST NOTES: My latest artwork, "Magpie Poppins," is a delightful romp through the eccentric and the enchanting. Picture this: a magpie, dressed in Mary Poppins' iconic attire, complete with a pink background that pops with playful exuberance. These quirky compositions are more than just humorous; they are a celebration of the unexpected. By transforming a common bird into a cherished cinematic icon, I invite my audience to see the ordinary through a lens of childlike wonder. Each brushstroke is a wink, each hue a nudge towards the fantastical. In a world often weighed down by the mundane, my art offers a feather-light escape. Think of it as a spoonful of sugar for your soul, with a magpie's mischievous charm to boot. So, come along and let’s take a jolly holiday through the quirky realms of my imagination. After all, a little bit of whimsy never hurt anyone, right? Certificate of Authenticity comes with each artwork. The sides are painted to match the main artwork. ARTIST BIO

I'm Julie, an artist living on the beautiful Gold Coast. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.

I love that my pieces resonate with others and bring a touch of the Gold Coast’s beauty and my own perspective into their lives. So, welcome to my world – I hope you find a bit of your own story in my art.
