ARTIST NOTES: This artwork is a combination of high quality graphite, charcoal, lightfast coloured pencils and water colour. I have a love of birds and their beautiful plumage. This was my first effort in moving into mixed media. It is professionally framed with a dark charcoal frame and white mat.

ARTIST BIO

 Although I have always been involved with craft in some form, two years ago I decided to take lessons and become a portrait artist.  I have mainly completed portraits for my own family and now I am branching out into colour and more artistic forms of art which I am really enjoying.  I have been drawing animals and birds in particular  Art is a never ending learning process, but so worth it ...
