ARTIST NOTES: Between Sand and Sky is inspired by Goolwa Beach in the summer. The sun is high in the sky, and red hot. The Surf Life Saving flags are out, and the ocean merges into the sky. The gaps between paint strokes signify that we only see the surface of the sand and the ocean, and the immediate sky as we look out. There's so much between that we don't see.

ARTIST BIO  Tom is an Adelaide based artist. Having spent much of his life by the ocean, Tom enjoys painting beach landscapes as they change through the seasons. View works by Tom Cernev in Victor Harbor Art Show
